The Association on American Indian Affairs offers AlLogan Slagle Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to American Indian students who are members of State Recognized Tribes, or Tribes seeking federal recognition. Applicants must be full time students and determination is based on need. Disbursement is made during the first semester and does not automatically renew. Students are eligible to apply on a yearly basis. Deadline for application is July 20.

  • Application
  • Financial Needs Analysis Form with Signature of Financial Aid Officer*
  • Current Financial Aid Award Letter
  • Certificate of Indian Blood of at least 1/4
  • Essay of Student's Educational Goals
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • Most Recent Transcript
  • Class Schedule

* Documentation from FAO may be faxed but must be received within 7 days of postmark. Other documentation will NOT be accepted via fax.

**Students may be required to provide additional documentation upon request.
