PHOTO - GROUP SHOT OF ANNUAL MEETING

Membership is open to any person who wishes to help American Indians. For a $25.00 contribution, we will keep you informed of AAIA's activities and other important news pertaining to American Indians. You will receive our newsletter, "Indian Affairs," published three times a year. Members may also receive periodic "call for action" letters regarding state or congressional action that would adversely affect American Indians.

In addition, you are eligible to vote for members of the board of directors who serve staggered terms. You may vote in person at the association's annual meeting in New York City or you may vote by proxy.

Support for the organization comes through direct mail solicitations, legacies, grants and special events. AAIA pledges that member's names will not be sold, traded or exchanged if the donor so designates.

Auditors' reports and Federal Internal Revenue Service reports are on file and available for membership inspection. A small fee may be assessed for copying, as some reports are lengthy.

If you'd like to become an AAIA member or donate to our cause, please contact us at the address below. We accept contributions of any size, and those contributions are tax deductible.
