Adolph Van Pelt Special Fund For Indian Scholarships

The Association on American Indian Affairs offers Adolph Van Pelt Special Fund for Indians Scholarships in amounts between $500-$800. Applicants must be full time students and determination is based on merit and need. Disbursement is made during the first semester. Scholarships are renewable up to four years towards any single degree. Each year $100 is added to the scholarship amount to a maximum of $800. A new application is required each year in addition to a copy of the previous years' grades and class schedule. Deadline for application is July 20.

• Financial Needs Analysis Form with Signature of Financial Aid Officer*
• Current Financial Aid Award Letter
• Certificate of Indian Blood of at least 1/4
• Essay of Student's Educational Goals
• Two Letters of Recommendation
• Most Recent Transcript
• Class Schedule
  

* Documentation from FAO may be faxed but must be received within 7 days of postmark. Other documentation will NOT be accepted via fax.

**Students may be required to provide additional documentation upon request.
